We have a total of 18 washing machines ranging from 20lbs - 65lbs and 20 dryers that range from 35lbs to 50lbs capacities. 

(All liquid soap to be split in half between pre and main wash)

20lb Washer - 1/4 cup of soap
45lb Washer - 1/3 cup of soap
65lb Washer - 3/4 cup of soap

Yes! Shorter cycles use less energy. Larger loads mean fewer loads and less spending! You also have the option to choose your load size so the machines optimize water usage

Absolutely! We have machines that can accommodate larger items like quilts and sleeping bags. All rugs must be washable and you must follow directions on tag. No rugs with rubber backing or shaggy strands. Voorhees Laundromat is not responsible for damaged laundered items. 

Our durable and efficient machines are designed to finish even the largest loads in about an hour! 

The last load must be in the washer 1 hour before close. The doors automatically lock at the closing time

Items in the washers and dryers are not permitted to be left unattended 

Items left in washers or dryers after cycle time is complete may be removed for other customers to use.  Items in washers after cycle time is complete are to be turned over immediately to a dryer or taken out of the washer.  Items in dryers are to be taken out immediately after cycle time is complete.  

All washers and dryers are to be cleared at the end of the night for cleaning.  If items are left inside a machine, they will be placed in a plastic bag and placed under the nearest folding table.  If not picked up in 24 hours, they will be moved from under a folding table, to our cleaning closet.  Access to lost and found items in our cleaning closet can be granted 1 hour before closing when our cleaning staff is on site. Monday-Thursday 9pm and Friday-Sunday 10pm.  

Any items left behind for 48 hours will be donated to a local charity.  

We are a self serve laundromat and are not responsible for any items left unattended by customers.  Washing and drying should only take an hour to complete and there is no excuse to leave items unattended.

Some key points to note: 

• All liquid detergents, powder and fabric softener  go inside the compartments on the top of each washing machines. No powder in front compartments.
• DETERGENT PODS do not go in the top compartments. They go directly inside the washing machine with your fabric. 
• Dryers are on the wall under the lush greenwall, all washing machines are on the opposite side. 
• We advise that you register your laundry card when you fill it with funds. This way we can replace your card if it gets lost or stolen with the amount that was previous on your card.

All machines require a Voorhees Laundromat card that you fill at the kiosk inside our laundromat. These machines take cash, debit cards, credit cards, EBT cash benefits, and ApplePay. Once your card is funded, you use that laundry card on our washing and dryer machines. $10 minimum required when using cards, EBT or ApplePay.  

Our Kiosks do not accept coins or give change

We highly suggest registering your card with personal information so we can reissue your card with its balance if lost.

*Additional extra rinse $0.25 | Additional for heavy soil $0.25

45 lb Machines (4 loads of laundry): $8.25

65 lb Machines (6 loads of laundry): $11.25

DRYERS: 

.59 cents per 6 minutes (50 pounds)

.49 cents per 6 minutes (35 pounds)
